Generation 4 Heroes: Margot, Rosa & Alcar Strategy
With the arrival of Generation 4 heroes—Margot, Rosa, and Alcar—it is time to update our alliance strategies. Here is a simple guide on how to use them, when to upgrade their gear, and how they fit into our Bear Trap events.
1. Hero Strengths: Where They Shine
Each Gen 4 hero brings a massive power boost to specific areas of the game:
Margot: Focuses heavily on raw damage output. Because of her specific skills, she is your ultimate team player for boosting rally damage.
Rosa: Excels in defense and survivability. She is strongest when holding defensive lines, protecting garrisons, and leading your infantry.
Alcar: The versatile tactician. Alcar provides excellent support buffs and is strongest when balancing out your marches, offering great critical damage boosts.
2. When to Transfer Gear from Generation 3
Do not move your best gear to Gen 4 heroes immediately! A completely maxed-out Generation 3 hero is still stronger than a brand-new Generation 4 hero.
Who to use: Focus on your strongest overall heroes for leading, such as Alcar or Rosa (or your best Gen 3 leaders). Do not use Margot as a rally leader.
When to use them: You should only set a Gen 4 hero as your Bear Trap Rally Leader after they have passed your current best Gen 3 leader (again, around the 3 to 4-star mark). Your Rally Leader needs the highest possible stats because their stats decide the base damage of the entire rally.
4. Bear Trap Strategy: Rally Joiners
Who to use: Margot is your best new choice, but she competes directly with older favorites like Amadeus, Schenko, Amane, and Yenwoo.
How to use her: Always place your best joiner hero in the first hero slot when joining a Bear Trap rally. The top right skill of this hero gives a massive damage boost to the whole team.
When to switch to Margot:
Do not use Margot as a joiner immediately! You should only start using her when she has enough stars to upgrade her top right skill. Compare her top right skill percentage to your current best joiner (like Amadeus or Schenko). When Margot's damage bonus becomes higher than your older hero's bonus, it is time to make the switch. Until then, keep using your older heroes.
